Each study mode starts with a set of words and meanings. You can choose a different mode whenever you open a set; the choices stay visible together.
Flashcards
Turn a card over, check its meaning and mark what you know. Start from the word or its definition.
Learn
Work through four stages, from choosing the right answer to typing it yourself.
Test
Check your recall with a mix of multiple-choice, true-or-false and written questions.
ReadingPro
Generate a short passage with words from your set, then read them in context.
WritingPro
Get a writing task built around your vocabulary and practise putting your own sentences together.
DictationPro
Listen to a generated passage and answer questions about what you heard.
Where should you start?
Use Flashcards when the vocabulary is new. Choose Learn when you want a sequence of questions that moves toward written recall. Choose Test when you’re ready to check yourself across the set.
If your aim is to work with the words in context, the Pro activities give you a reading passage, a writing task or a listening exercise. You select the vocabulary and available practice settings before generating an activity.
What’s available with a free account?
You can create your own sets, study with flashcards and tests, and use the daily free Learn allowance. Alingva Pro includes AI generation tools and additional plan allowances. Current pricing and limits are shown in your account.
Generated passages, tasks and feedback are practice material. Check unfamiliar wording against your course, teacher or a reference you trust, and edit your own cards whenever needed.
Keep one set, change the practice
You don’t need to duplicate a set to try another activity. Open the set, choose a mode and practise the same vocabulary in a different way. Read a simple vocabulary routine for an example of how to combine them.
